Join The Club!

The executive of RRCC are proud to announce that we are now accepting applications to join the club. There are three levels of memberships available; single voting, family voting (maximum of two voting members) and associate (single, non-voting). In accordance with the policies and procedures of the Canadian Kennel Club, the officers and directors of all accredited clubs must be residents of Canada and CKC regular members in good standing.

Mission Statement

The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Canada promotes healthy dogs for sport or show, but mostly as a life companion. We believe in ethical and selective breeding as a means of improving or maintaining dogs that conform to the breed standard. We reject the notion of breeding for the sole purpose of profit. We believe that Rhodesian Ridgebacks are pack oriented and should be integrated into our daily lives. We mentor and congratulate others appropriately. We spay and neuter pets. We hold education as a core value to our club.

How to Apply

Application forms (including the club's code of ethics - COE) are available on the website (see link below) or by contacting any member of the club's executive. All applications must be sponsored (in writing) by a current RRCC member, who is in good standing with RRCC and who does not reside in the same household as the applicant. A list of club members is available from the club secretary. The names of all applicants will be printed in the club's quarterly newsletter prior to being approved by the executive. All applications must be filled out in full and must be accompanied by a cheque payable in Canadian dollars made out to "RRCC". Please note that a signed copy of the club's COE MUST accompany the application form and that all incomplete applications will be returned.
